The tames program says my database is corrupt:

This can happen during installation with the demonstration database because your computer
is set up for a different country than what your data is in.
If you have installed the demonstration data, this is Metric and your computer maybe 
set up as if you where in the united states ie Imperial.
You must either change your computer region setting to YOUR country or change the tames 
configuration to metric.

How do I delete my demonstration data:

Navigate to the directory that holds your database files for tames, these will usually be
called material.dbt, color.dbt, toolreg.dbt etc... delete all files in this directory
including image files ie. *.jpg, *.gif.
This directory during a normal install is usually c:\program files\tames\DATA
