F or some time now the need has been felt in the plastics industry for a program that can calculate the injection moulding operation with extreme accuracy.

W e have had some programs that served this area in the past but were too complex and expensive for the average injection moulding company.

  • Part Weight
  • Material M.F.I
  • Insert Moulding
  • Machine Type
  • MasterBatch Addition Rate
  • Thin Wall Sections
  • Multiple Cavities
  • Mold Flow Lengths
  • Labour / Machine Costs etc. etc. etc.

The figures that T.A.M.E.S will produce is calculated on a well designed tool with adequate cooling and material processing within the material manufacturers specifications, an allowance has to be made for poorly designed tools and less efficient machines.

Calculations done on existing tooling has indicated a need for a revolutionary approach to the existing moulding practices and the way we mold plastic injected parts.

Using T.A.M.E.S as an indication of what was achievable a decrease of 20% - 30% in cycle times were met over a six month period.
